Flora Allene Smith, age 82 of Jacksonville, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Cabot, Arkansas. She was born on August 17, 1930 in Rector, Arkansas to the late Jess and Dora Jones. She is survived by her husband, Elder Ray Smith of Jacksonville; four sons, Randy (Joyce) Smith of Jacksonville, Rodney (Donna) Smith of Jacksonville, Reginald Smith of Beebe and Rory Smith of Jacksonville; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; three sisters, Elsie Porter, Almeria Jackson and Mogene Gray, all of Paragould, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the staff of Cabot Nursing and Rehabilitation; the staff of Baptist Hospice along with all the friends in the community who have offered their prayers and support. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home and Crematory. (501) 982-2136.

Elder Ray Smith, 91, of Jacksonville went home to be with our Savior on April 25, 2017. He was born on April 9, 1926 to Jess and Ell Smith. He married Flora Allene Jones on December 10, 1948. They had four sons, Randy (Joyce), Rodney (Donna), Reginald and Rory, 11 grandchildren, many great and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, 7 brothers, 2 sisters, many brother and sister in laws. He was a believer in Christ, a WWII Veteran, millwright worker, homebuilder, great husband and an awesome dad. We miss ya and love ya.

A special thanks to our VA Home Base Team and First Choice Senior Care Team for all they have done making it possible to stay at home. We love y’all.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2017 at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home (501) 982-2136. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
