1906 - September 8, 1975
Doyle T. Ward, 69, of the Frenchport Community died in a local hospital Monday afternoon. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Frenchport Community Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Horeb cemetery near Elliott under the direction of Camden Funeral Service. Mr. Ward was a carpenter and a former employe of International Paper Co. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bernice Ward; one son, H. B. Ward of Gibsland, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Juanita Daniels of Camden; two brothers, H. A. Ward of Shreveport and Andrew Ward of Fort Worth, Tex.; 10 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. (Camden News - September 9, 1975)
