Lawrence Arthur Jones, 83, of Route #5, Box 2280, Huntsville, died June 3, 1998 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Rogers. He was born March 7, 1915 at Truth, the son of John Eli and Desta Phillips Jones. He was a farmer, a Baptist and a Veteran of World War Two, serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mrs. Maggie Horine Jones, one brother, Clarence Jones and one half-brother, Oren Jones.
Survivors include: his wife, Mrs. Pauline Mary Hawkins Jones of the home; one brother, Frank E. Jones of Great Falls, Montana; one sisters, Mrs. Elsie Hamilton of Buhl, Idaho; five half-sisters, Mrs. Maxine Parson of Huntsville, Mrs. Amy Boyd of Springdale, Mrs. Addie Richardson of Omak, Washington, Mrs. Thelma Geer of Wichita, Kansas and Mrs. Opal Parker of Gonzales, Texas.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 5 in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home. Interment was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Barry Tice, Fred Trinkle, Cliff Cline, Johnny Reynolds, Vernon Bowman and J.L. Hamilton.

Pauline Mary Jones, 91, of Huntsville died Feb. 17, 2007, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born Feb. 5, 1916, in Huntsville to Fred and Thelma McConnell Hawkins. She was a farmer and a Christian.
Her husband, Lawrence Arthur Jones, preceded her in death on June 3, 1998.
Survivors include one sister, Jimmie Stroud and husband Troy of Huntsville; four sisters-in-law and several nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, with Larry Combs officiating. Burial will be in Huntsville Cemetery.
Her nephews will serve as pallbeare
