April 15, 1883 - December 16, 1976
Mrs. Ethel Coleman Lide, 93, of Shreveport, La., formerly of Camden, died Thursday in Shreveport. Memorial services will be held in the First United Methodist Church Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Proctors Funeral Home of Camden. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church or the First United Methodist Church Children's Home. She is the widow of Montrose Graham Lide and was a resident of Camden for many years. She is survived by one son, James C Lide of Detroit, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Samuel C. Smith of Shreveport and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. (Camden News - December 17, 1976)
