Mrs. Martha Simmons Dies At Mt. Home

Funeral services were held Wednesday of last week for Mrs. Martha Lou Simmons, 76, at the Page Cemetery, Newburg, with Rev. Hugh Cooper officiating. Mrs. Simmons died at the home of her daughter, J. J. Kent at Mountain Home.

A native of Arkansas, Mrs. Simmons spent most of her life in this county. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, C. S. Simmons; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl Cone of Newburg and Mrs. J. J. Kent of Mountain Home; a son H. A. Simmons of Searcy; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
