IRA M. DAVIS
Ira M. Davis, 74, Kansas City, Mo., died June 12 in St. Mary's Hospital, Kansas City. He was born at Mondell and was employed with Word Electric and Battery Co. in Kansas City.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mayme Davis of the home; one son, Jerry Davis, Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean Weller, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Jo Ann Ring, Kansas City, Kan.; four sisters, Mrs. Bertha Ash, Pea Ridge, Mrs. Clora Moon and Mrs. Letha McBride, Avenal, Calif., and Mrs. Lottie Roller, Garden City, Mo.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Callison Chapel, Rogers. Burial will be in Ruddick Cemetery, Garfield, under the direction of Callison.

Mayme R. Davis, 84, of Kansas City, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 16, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
She was born July 19, 1906 at Garfield to Jessie Whitney and Addie Wilson Whitney. She was a housewife and a member of Garfield Church of Christ. She had lived in Kansas City for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira M. Davis, in 1976.
Survivors are a son, Jerry Davis of Kansas City, Mo.; two daughters, JoAnn Ring of Kansas City, Mo., and Norma Jean Weller of Englewood, Colo.; a sister, Maggie Studebaker of Neosho, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral is set for 10 a.m. Saturday at Callison-Lough Funeral Home with the Rev. R.V Haygood officiating. Burial is to be in Ruddick Cemetery at Garfield. Visitation is set for 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Callison-Lough Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
