Mrs. Mattie Mae Ethridge, 69, died Friday. She was born Sept. 28, 1900 and was a member of the Happy Home Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her husband, Quince Edward Ethridge, Hampton; three daughters, Mrs. Thomas Wisinger, Hampton, Mrs. Fayeren Duncan, EL Dorado, and Mrs. Leon Howard, Crossett; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Happy Home Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Picket Cemetery under the direction of Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. (El Dorado Times - January 17, 1970)
