Agnes Roberts, 75, of Gassville

Agnes Roberts, 75, of Gassville died Wednesday (May 4, 1994) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Harvey Seehusen officiating. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home, and burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.

Mrs. Roberts was a lifelong area resident, born in Lakeview on December 7, 1918. She was a cook's helper at the Cedar Grill and Patio Restaurants until her retirement. She married Howard Roberts in 1950 at Mountain Home. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She loved quilting, gardening, and cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, both parents, Christopher Columbus and Lougilla Lackey McMahon, two brothers, two sisters, a son, a daughter and a granddaughter.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jim Hendrix of Gassville; three daughters, Linda Powell and her husband, Ken of Midway, Margaret Roberts and Katherine McMahon both of Gassville; a brother, Bill Bridgeman of Union, Mo.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Lee Ray Carson, Darrell Cook, Bob Cook, James Swadley, James Fisk and Ronnie Studdard.

Honorary pallbearers will be Donnie Crawford and Slinton Strowbridge.
