John Roberts died Saturday, February 21, 2009 in Mountain Home at the age of 93. He was born Thursday, September 30, 1915 in Mountain Home, Arkansas, the son of Ruffus Walter and Ollie Lee Trivitt Roberts. He married Wilma V. Maddox on September 28, 1962 at Mountain Home, Arkansas and he worked as a Farrier and Carpenter for 76 years. John was a lifetime resident of Mountain Home.
Survivors: Roberts is survived by his wife, Wilma Roberts, daughters, Janice Fay Roberts Wilson, Nora English and Christine Rash.
Preceded in Death by: He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters, and 1 son Johnnie Lee Roberts.
Funeral: Graveside services for John Walter Roberts of Clarkridge, Arkansas, will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 28, 2009 at the Bentley Ridge Cemetery, Clarkridge, Arkansas, with Carol and Bob Carrington officiating.
Burial: Burial will be in the Bentley Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
