November 6, 1903 - November 13, 1974
Mrs. Geneva McKnight Cawthon White, 71, of 900 E. Oak St., died Wednesday in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Young's Funeral Home chapel with Dr. Don B. Harbuck officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Camden. Mrs. White was born Nov. 6, 1903 at Hampton, the daughter of Joe S. McKnight and Kate Hopkins McKnight. She was a resident of El Dorado since 1924 and a retired District Court reporter. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. J. W. Hanna of El Dorado, Mrs. Myrtle Jackson of Little Rock and Mrs. Gertrude Norris of Greencastle, Pa. (El Dorado News Times - November 14, 1974)
