Tommie M. White, aged 79, of the Troy Community died in a Camden hospital at 8:00 p.m. Monday. Mr. White was a retired farmer. He was born in Clark County, but had lived in Ouachita County since the age of six. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jossie Riddick White; three sons, Alvin White of Fordyce, Roy White of Warren, and Erdell White of Bearden; one daughter, Mrs. Minor Lampkin of Chidester; three sisters, Mrs. Della Lusby of Stephens, Mrs. Belle Clemmons and Mrs. Minnie Churchwell, both of Paris, Texas; eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Silver Springs Church at Troy conducted by Rev. E. J. Pennington and Rev. B. G. Garner. Burial will be in the Riddick Cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home. Casket bearers are, Arlis Lampkin, Willie Ray Lampkin, Fred Lee Rogers, Alvin Lee White, Roy Buford, and Carl Davis. The body will remain at the Funeral home until funeral time. (Camden News - February 4, 1964)
