Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at New Providence Baptist Church for Mrs. Mary L. Thornton Dunn who died December 1. Burial will be in Primm Cemetery under the direction of Andrews Funeral Home. Born June 28, 1897, in Louisiana, she was the daughter of Bradley and Sallie Noble Thornton. Survivors include five sons, the Rev. Victor Dunn, Altadena, Calif., and Mila B. Dunn, Jesse Dunn, Lawrence E. Dunn and Curtis Dunn, all of Flint, Mich.; eight daughters, Mrs. Cenobia Massey and Mrs. Ceola Holliday, both of Flint, Mich., Mrs. Lois T. O'Guinn, Berkley, Mo., Mrs. Callie C. McElroy, Smackover, and Mrs. Exie L. O'Guinn, Mrs. Bernice Levingston, and Mrs. Annie M. Cheatom, all of El Dorado; a sister, Mrs. Exie Hicks, El Dorado; a step-brother, Jett Johnson, El Dorado; 48 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jesse Dunn, Mila B. Dunn, Victor Dunn, Lawrence Dunn, Curtis Dunn, Wallace L. Dunn, Prentice C. O'Guinn and Monroe Cheatom. (El Dorado Times - December 6, 1969)
