Dovie Smith Grace, 85 of Bossier City, LA died Friday, June 17, 2011 at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Bossier City of a lengthy illness.
Born December 13, 1925 in Lillie, Louisiana she was the daughter of Seabron Edgar and Zeorbria Etta Raborn Smith. Mrs. Grace was a homemaker and of the United Methodist faith.
Preceding her in death along with her parents, were her three husbands, Franklin Rosamond, Paul Grace and Ransom Dunn along with brothers, Isaac Smith and Leon Smith, sisters, Virginia Jennings and Allane Thompson and a grandson, Jeremy Yerton.
Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Yelverton of Bossier City, LA and Paula Fridge (John) of Keithville, LA and one brother Othar Smith (Mary) of El Dorado. Surviving grandchildren are Cherie Rodriguez (Mike) of Springhill, LA, Drew McCandlish (Chrissy) of Haughton, LA and Erin Presley (Shawn) of DeBerry, Texas and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2011 in Bailey Funeral Home Chapel in Junction City with Rev. Jim Kerr officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Junction City under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. Monday until funeral time at the funeral home.
