Claborn Paul White went to join his Savior in Heaven on March 28, 2018 in El Dorado, Arkansas.

Born to Denton and Sarah White on May 8, 1932 in his parents’ home in Franklin, Texas, Paul enjoyed a big family growing up that included brothers, Franklin and Jesse in addition to three sisters, Almedia Fay, Christine and Willie Bee, who have all preceded him in death. It was with these siblings that Paul joined in starting the Annual White Family Reunion back in the late 1960’s. This Family Reunion continues every year in Marlin, Texas with Paul and Mary attending annually. They have been very proud to have been able to pass the tradition of “family” down to the younger generations. Of which they helped contribute 8 children, 21 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren with their union alone.

With a 6th grade Texas education, Paul worked various jobs to support his family before finding his calling in the oilfields of West Texas which eventually led him to a career that took him and some of his family around the world. He’s seen the Pyramids of Egypt and has toured the castles of Scotland to name a few. After returning to the States, Paul started his own dump trucking business and it has been said he never really officially retired from that.

Still working a part-time job for Natchitoches Parish until just recently, Paul enjoyed watching the classics on RFD-TV and eating Butter Pecan ice cream. But most of all he loved attending church at Grace Baptist in Cloutierville, LA with his wife, Mary. As a Christian, Paul led many people to the Lord, including many of his own family members. He will be missed dearly by not only his loving wife, but also by the many loved ones that called him, Dad, Daddy, Grandpa, Paw Paw, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. We will see him at the next big Family Reunion along with the others that have gone on before him.

He was preceded in death by his two sons, John and David and his infant daughter, Mary Elizabeth.

Paul is survived by his wife of 68 years, Mary (Mosley) and his children, Cynthia Lartigue, Rebecca Bellard, Susan Coston (Beau) Laura Williams and Donna Bone (Tommy).

Pallbearers are Grandsons: Jason Bellard, Robert Lartigue, John White, Christopher Bone, Johnny Coston, Justin Bone and Blake Williams
Honorary Pallbearers are: Grandsons: Marty Lartigue, Cody Coston, and Travis White, Great Grandson: Reagan Dalme and Grandson in Law: Dwayne Inzer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 31, 1028 from 1pm until 2pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1942 N. Wyatt Dr. El Dorado, Arkansas at 2pm .
