Mrs. Dorlis Fay Rogers, 34, wife of Charles L. Rogers, Mt. Holly Rd., died in a little Rock hospital Wednesday at 11 p.m. after a brief illness. Mrs. Rogers was employed as a desk clerk at the Holiday Inn. Born in El Dorado Jan.4, 1930, the daughter of Bonnie Roy and Edna Woolley Giles, she was a lifelong resident of Union County and a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, John Charles Rogers and a daughter, both of El Dorado; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Giles of Marysville; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Nora Giles of Marysville; her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mattie Woolley of Village; a brother, Floyd Giles of Homer, La.; two sisters, Mrs. L.L. Stratton of El Dorado and Mrs. G. V. Stratton of Marysville; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Ova May Pittman of Magnolia, Mrs. Katie State of Tridad, Calif., and Mrs. Syble Hight of Camden. Funeral services have been announced for Friday at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Everett officiating, assisted by the Rev. John Burton. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's. Pallbearers will be Bill Johnson, Cliff Harrell, Byrd Norris, Roger Butcher, Johnny Hammond and Ferry Brasher.
