Junior J. “JR” McGarrah, 80 of Springdale went to be with the Lord Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born October 16, 1940 in Springdale, Arkansas the son of Jay Brook and Goldie Mae Baker McGarrah. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara McGarrah; daughter, Theresa McGarrah, son, Randy Eagle, and a sister, Betty Scott.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Virginia (Jimmy) White of Springdale, Sharon (Lonnie) Lane of Springdale, Brenda Eagle of Missouri; son, Ricky (Shelly) Eagle of Lincoln, Arkansas; sisters, Alice Reed of Fayetteville, Dorothy Gallergher, brothers, Charles McGarrah of Gentry, Arkansas, Bobby McGarrah of OK; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00AM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Frisco Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM till service time on Wednesday.
The family will be receiving guests after services at 391 N. Pianalto Road.

Barbara Ann McGarrah, 68, of Springdale, Arkansas joined her Jesus March 27, 2010 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on August 21, 1941 in Springdale, Arkansas, daughter of Everett and Gladys (Smith) Wright. Barbara married JR McGarrah on September 29, 1962 in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Loretta Bohannon. Barbara always had a big heart full of love to share; she enjoyed crafts and was proud of her family.
Survivors include her husband, JR McGarrah of the home; five children, Virginia White, Sharon McGarrah, Ricky Eagle, Randy Eagle and Brenda Headley all of Springdale, AR; 9 grandchildren, Sammi Wilmoth and Katasha Taylor both of Springdale, AR, Martin White, Marty Don White both of Forum, AR, Freda George, Jason White, Jasmine White, Ashley Kilpatrick and Ronald Eagle all of Springdale, AR; 11 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Geneva Miller, Leona Wright, Danny Wright and Jim Wright all of Springdale, AR, and Clara Staggs of Hindsville, AR; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale, AR. Funeral Service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Kelly Yarbrough officiating. Pallbearers will be Allen Acuff, Scott Wilmoth, Kit Butler, Lonnie Acuff, Christopher Taylor, Marty Don White, Martin White and Jason White. Committal Service to follow at Frisco Springs Cemetery east of Lowell, AR.
