LOWELL — Florence Noella McGarrah, 71, of Lowell died Jan. 3, 1996, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Jan. 12, 1924, in Taunton, Mass., to Alfred and Alice Martin Goulet. She was a lifetime resident of the area. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, and one grandson.
Survivors include her husband, Edward McGarrah of the home, to whom she was married 50 years; two sons, W. James McGarrah of Rogers and Ed McGarrah of Marble; seven daughters, Mary Franklin of Tacoma, Wash., Rosie May McGarrah. Junie Burns, Shirley Woods, all of Lowell, Doreen Shafer and Glenda Kessler, both of Springdale and Charlotte Moss of Harryman, Tenn.; two brothers, Alfred Goulet and Norman Goulet of Taunton; one sister, Doris Goulet of Taunton; 24 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Rogers Cemetery with Gary Thomas officiating.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.
