Benjamin Harrison Shipp, 84, of Winslow, died a his home Monday. Born May 23, 1888 in Madison County, the son of Taylor and Celia A. Witt Shipp, he was a Baptist.
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Margaret Hoover Shipp of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Laraine Parrish and Mrs. Irmalee Williford, both of Springdale and Mrs. Ardell Harris of Bell Gardens, Calif.; two sons, John H. of Springdale and Robert Earl of Winslow; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Cooper of Bentonville, Mrs. Rachel Haskins of Huntsville and Mrs. Stella Gregory of California; one brother, John of Durham; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday At Moore"s Chapel with burial in Brentwood Cemetery under direction of Moore's Chapel.
