COLCORD, Okla. — John Henry Shipp, 76, of Colcord, Okla., died March 11, 2005, at Northwest Medical Center of Washington County in Springdale. He was born Feb. 10, 1929, in Winslow to Harrison and Tenna Hoover Shipp. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a retired employee of Tyson Foods. He was a member of Harmony Holiness Church.
Survivors include his wife, Rosalea Brannon Shipp; two sons, Danny E. Shipp of Springdale, Donny Wayne Shipp of
Springdale; a daughter, Kathy Irene Eldridge of Colcord; a brother, Robert Shipp of Brentwood, 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Brentwood Cemetery with Wayne Hunt and the Rev. Dwain Houston officiating. Arrangements are by Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
