It was Thursday, November 3, 1949, a beautiful baby girl named Mary Ethel Willis was born to Florence Gilkie and Herman Maxwell Sr. in Hope, Arkansas. Throughout Mary’s journey, she touched the lives of many.

She loved Steve Harvey and watching Family Feud until she gained her angel wings. On Sunday, December 27, 2020, at the age of 71, Mary entered eternal rest at Wadley Regional Hospital. She will be missed by her family and friends dearly.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Willis; seven siblings, Mitchell Henderson, Herman Maxwell Jr., Janis Gulley, Clifford Stuart, James Hall, Freddie Stuart and Roxie Whitfield.

Mary leaves the following loved ones to cherish her memories: six daughters, Jessie Holcomb, Florence Willis, Leona Willis, Fleshia (Michael) Dixon, Tanekia Willis and Shamekia Willis; sisters, Elizabeth Maxwell, Jewell Lee, Shelia (Tommie) Law, Eddie Stuart; sister-in-law, Martha Henderson; 16 grandkids, great grandkids, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, close relatives and friends.

*Public visitation will be 2 pm – 4 pm CST @ McFadden & Hitchye Memorial Chapel | 411 S. Walnut St. Hope, AR.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 3, 2021
**Homegoing service will commence at 2 pm CST @ Scott Memorial Gardens | 5610 Hwy 67 E., Hope, AR.

NOTE: Social distancing and safety protocols will be followed. Face masks are required.
