Sam Priddy Jr., 82, of Springdale died Thursday, Dec. 22, 1994, at his home.
Born Sept. 10, 1912, in Craighead County, a son of Sam and Martha Priddy Sr., he was a member of the United Baptist Church of Springdale and a retired farmer.
Survivors are his wife, Beatrice Williams Priddy of the home; three sons, Billy Joe Priddy of Weiner and Thomas Earl Priddy and Phillip Dean Priddy, both of Springdale; two daughters, Geneva Viola Brown of Decatur and Judy Ann Dostie of Springdale; a brother, Roy Priddy of Cash; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home with the Rev. Alvin Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in the Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

SPRINGDALE — Beatrice W. Priddy, 81, of Springdale died Oct. 31, 2000, at Springdale. She was born July 6, 1919, in Cash to Bruce and Lorene Daniels Williams. She was a homemaker and a member of Springdale United Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Priddy, on Dec. 22, 1994.
Survivors include three sons, Billy Priddy of Weiner, Thomas Priddy and Philip Priddy, both of Springdale; two daughters, Jeneva Brown and Judy Dostie, both of Springdale; two brothers, Henry Williams of Batesville and Jack Williams of Punta Gorda, Fla.; two sisters, Marie Ellison of Jonesboro and Donna Taylor of Cash; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with the Rev. Alvin Reynolds and the Rev. Clark Snow officiating.
Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Priddy, Brian Priddy, David Priddy, Christopher Priddy, Scott Dostie and Kevin Brown.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
