James Ira Beavers was the Buffalo Postmaster for 17 years.
Married (1) Nellie Gibbs, July 6, 1915, in Baxter County, Arkansas, and later divorced.
Married (2) Mrs. Edith Dorehena "Doll" Tilley Ward, April 18, 1918, in Baxter County, Arkansas, and later divorced.
Married (3) Florence Ora Hutchenson.
Son of Sidney Calvin Beavers & Elmira Caroline "Ella" Haney Beavers.

Funeral services for James Ira Beavers of Buffalo, who died Sunday at Veterans Hospital in Fayetteville, were held yesterday afternoon at the Heiskill Cemetery, with the Rev. Orlin McLahmar officiating. the Roller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Beavers, well-known farmer and merchant, had served as postmaster at Buffalo for the past 17 years. He was born at Buford in 1893, a spent his entire live in this county. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife; son, James of Buffalo; two daughters, Imogene and Cleta, both of Los Angeles, CA; two sisters, Mrs. George White and Mrs. Sam Osborne, both of Buffalo; two brothers, Edward of Coolige, AZ and Paul of Yakima, WA.
