Oscar Officer, 95, of Huntsville, died February 3 in Meadowview Lodge. Born November 21, 1882, at Huntsville, he was the son of Hickman and Margaret Stotts Officer, a member of the Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include one son, Sidney Officer of Huntsville; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services were at 2 o'clock Monday, February 6, in the Chapel of Brashears Funeral Home. Burial was in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears.
