Ruth Ann Ellenbarger, age 66, of Springdale died Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, in Fayetteville. She was born Dec. 4, 1939, in Fayetteville, the daughter of Hollis B. and Ida Belle Holcomb Barrows. She was co-owner of Ellenbarger Construction and a member of First Christian Church in Springdale.
She is survived by her husband, R.D. Ellenbarger, of the home, whom she married Dec, 11, 1959; one son, Ron Ellenbarger and wife Gayla of Springdale; one daughter, Cathy Morlan and husband Michael of Fayetteville; her mother, Ida Belle Barrows of Springdale; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Joel, Julie, Sara, Elizabeth and Carrie Ellenbarger, Misty Graham, Blake Tyler and Kyle Morlan; one great-grandson, Caleb Graham.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2006, at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale with the Rev. Eldon Bagwell officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Springdale with family present from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
