Vernon Williams, 81, of Hindsville, Arkansas, died March 29, 2013 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born January 12, 1932 at Dripping Springs, Arkansas, the son of Squire Bruton and Nan Neff Williams. He was a carpenter and a member of the Hartwell Church of Christ.
Survivors include: his wife, Joie Easterling Williams of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Tammy Williams of Hindsville, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Tom Willcutt of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one grandson, Austin Willcutt of Fayetteville, Arkansas and two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Maggie and Sam Davidson of Berryville, Arkansas and JoBeth and Travis Evans of Huntsville, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday, April 3, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with Ronnie Wade, Minister officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Rick Gurley, Justin Usrey, Marty Edens, Danny Bowlin, Craig Williams and Lyndall Watkins. Honorary pallbearers will be: C. G. Mason, Butch Anderson, Frank Weaver, Kenny Bailey, J. D. Lyman, Dwight Steele and Cliff Wood. The family will receive friends from 5:30 P. M. to 7:30 P. M. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Arkansas Childrens Hospital Foundation, Post Office Box 2222, Little Rock, Arkansas 72703-9984.

Joie Williams, 76, of Hindsville, Arkansas, died May 6, 2013 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, Arkansas. She was born January 26, 1937 at Huntsville, Arkansas, the daughter of Ewen and Edith Smith Easterling. She was a homemaker, a member of the Hartwell Church of Christ and the widow of Vernon Williams who preceded her in death on March 29, 2013. She was also preceded in death by two grandsons.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Tammy Williams of Hindsville, Arkansas; one daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Tom Willcutt of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one grandson, Austin Willcutt of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Maggie and Sam Davidson of Berryville, Arkansas and JoBeth and Travis Evans of Huntsville, Arkansas.
