Daisy Ellen Shrum Fowler, 79, of Huntsville, Arkansas, died December 17, 2010 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born May 16, 1931 at Eagle Rock, Missouri, the daughter of Elisha and Nancy Ellen Burris Shrum.
She was a licensed practical nurse for many years at Meadowview Heathcare and Rehab and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Huntsville. She enjoyed reading, painting and visiting with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, George Shrum, one sister, June Shrum and one great-granddaughter, Morgan Fowler.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Barbara Fowler of Wesley, Arkansas, James and Patti Fowler of Huntsville, Arkansas and Edward and Katherine Fowler of Aurora, Arkansas; two brothers, Bill Shrum and Albert Shrum, both of Bend, Oregon; five grandsons, Rusty Fowler, Chris Fowler, Tyler Fowler, Aaron Fowler and Skylar Fowler, all of Huntsville, Arkansas; three granddaughters, Amanda Fowler and Jennifer Fowler, both of Wesley, Arkansas and Tabitha McGaugh of Huntsville, Arkansas; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Monday, December 20, in the chapel of Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverend Doug McClure officiating. Interment will be in the Huntsville Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home of Huntsville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be: Chris Fowler, Tyler Fowler, Rusty Fowler, Aaron Fowler, Skylar Fowler and David Ray Upshaw.
