Billy G. Young, 77, of Ozark died Thursday, April 9, 2009, in Ozark. He was born May 2, 1931, in Franklin County. He was retired from OG&E, a cattle farmer and the widower of Joanne Young.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Ozark with burial at Duncan Cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Pallbearers will be David Jenkins, Bart English, Wayne Hodges, Randy Vest, Robert Jones and Gary Williams.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Joanne Dane Young, 69, of Ozark, Arkansas died Monday, May 30, 2005, in Ozark. She was born November 26, 1935, in Ozark. She was retired from the Ozark School District after 32 years as a teacher and librarian, and a member of First Baptist Church for 60 years, where she was a member of WMU and the choir and taught Sunday school.
Funeral was held at 3 p.m. today at Ozark First Baptist Church with burial at Duncan Cemetery in Ozark under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
She is survived by her husband, and a sister.
