Wanda Deloris Scoles, age 73, of Dardanelle died Friday, July 23, 2010 at the River Valley Medical Center in Dardanelle. Born August 11, 1936 in Kennett, Missouri to the late James and Bernice Morgan Clegg. She was a homemaker & mother and member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Dardanelle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Jimmy Clegg, and a sister, Virginia Metzger.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Jess Scoles, a daughter, Janice Shipley & husband, Ron, Ada, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Shawna Shipley of Ft. Worth, Texas; Steven Shipley of Russellville; 3 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Wilma Wolfe of Michigan, Helen Grenier of Russellville, Vangie Rhodes of Arizona and Robbie Robbins of Michigan; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
Services was held Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Cornwell Chapel, Dardanelle with Rev. Ron Shipley officiating. Burial was in Petillo Hill Cemetery near Centerville

Jess William Scoles age 83 of Dardanelle died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was born June 29, 1929 at Casa, Arkansas to the late Ben and Gracie Stroud Scoles. He was a member of the Mt. George Church of Christ and he was a Refrigeration Maintenance Man for Tyson Foods.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Wanda Scoles and nine brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his daughter Janice Shipley and husband Ron of Ada, OK; two grandchildren, Shawna Shipley of Ft. Worth, TX, Steven Shipley of Russellville; three great grandchildren, Tea Duncan, Essance Shipley, Destin Shipley all of Russellville; two sisters, Bessie Gray, Bobbie Bolden both of Dardanelle and numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral services was held at 10:00A.M., Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Cornwell Chapel in Dardanelle with Bro. Ron Shipley officiating. Burial was in Petillo Hill Cemetery near Centerville.
