Ollen Walter McCoy, 83, of Springdale, died on Jan. 31, 2010, at Circle of Life in Springdale. He was born on Sept. 3, 1926, in Huntsville, the son of Bruce and Jean (Barton) McCoy. He served in the United States Army during WWII and attended First Baptist Church of Springdale. He was retired from retail sales. He was preceded in death by his wife Neoma (Hill) McCoy and one son, Glen McCoy.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Sandra McCoy of Springdale; one sister, Georgia (McCoy) Thompson of Springdale; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Feb. 3 at First Baptist Church of Springdale with Minister Ty McCoy officiating. Burial was held in Elm Springs Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Hone. Memorials may he made to Circle of Life Hospice House, 901 Jones Road, Springdale, AR 72762.
