Freda Ashlock Arnold, age 82, of Plumerville, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was born October 21, 1931, in Hickoria, Arkansas, a daughter of Leonard Ashlock and Florence Dobbins Ashlock. She was a member of the Caney Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Ludye Arnold (Barbara) of Houston, Arkansas, Ricky Arnold (Debi) of Plumerville, Terry Arnold of Center Ridge and Jackie Arnold (JoAnn) of Pangburn; daughters, Oleta Arnold of Horseshoe bend and Brenda Pace (Freddie) of St. Louis, Missouri; three brothers, Clayton Ashlock of Quitman, Delbert Ashlock of Jerusalem, and Rocky Ashlock of Mt. Home; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Odell Arnold, an infant son, Larry Dwayne, three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 21, at the Harris Chapel with Bro. Cecil Burgess officiating. Burial will be at Caney Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service Friday at the Funeral Home.
