HOWARD, Lottie McCARTY - Mrs. Lottie Howard, wife of E.V. Howard, former residents of Gentry, died at her home in Springdale, Ark. Saturday morning last, age 58 years, 11 months and 24 days. Funeral services were held Sunday, February 9 with the Rev. Marion Phillips of Westville, Oklahoma in charge and interment was had in the Dutch Mills cemetery. Miss Lottie McCarty was born in Dutch Mills, Ark. Feb. 14, 1871; was married to E.V. Howard Dec. 31, 1891. To this union were born six children, two of whom preceded their mother in death. The deceased leaves to mourn her passing her husband, E.V. Howard of Springdale; one son, Frank Howard of Siloam Springs; three daughters, Mrs. 0llie Douglas of Highfill, Ark.; Mrs. Jessie Anglin, Buena Park, Calif. and Mrs. Bertha Butler, Bellflower, Calif.; two brothers, Ben and Bob McCarty of Dutch Mills; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Freeman, Westville, Okla.; Mrs. M.A. Holland, Westville, Okla. and Mrs. Cynthia Patterson, Dutch Mills and a host of friends and other relatives.
