Lincoln — Pearl Richard Pinkerton, 88, of Dutch Mills, died Thursday in a Fayetteville hospital. Born July 3, 1884 at Clay Center, Kan., the son of Samuel Jefferson and Amelia Anna Baldwin Pinkerton, he was a retired blacksmith and carpenter and a Baptist.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Lillian Pearl Lacey Pinkerton of the home; three sons, Billy of Lincoln, Richard of Lubbock, Tex. and Joe of Dutch Mills; two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Wheeler of Quemado, N.M. and Mrs. Joy Ann Kyle of Dutch Mills; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will he at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dutch Mills Baptist Church with burial in Dutch Mills Cemetery under director of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
