Sadie Williford Langley, 88, of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, November 21, 2013. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and retired from Bancroft Industries of Cabot. She loved to fish and was a beloved mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Rickey “Sambo” Langley and wife, Patricia of Jacksonville; daughter, Ruth Langley Casteel of Conway; six grandchildren, Tonya Hiland, Kevin Casteel, Danny Casteel, Sara Beth Langley, Dawson Sam Brick Langley and Michael Langley; six great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dawson C. Langley; sisters, Ruthie Pinkerton, Emogene Langley; brothers, Louis, Ira, Zerba, Thurman, James A., Carroll and Verble Williford and her son-in-law, Edward Casteel.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, Arkansas 72205.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday at Harmony Baptist Church. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church. Arrangements by North Little Rock Funeral Home.
