Ella Williams Wright of Melbourne, Arkansas
Ella Williams Wright, daughter of the late Arthur and Pearl Williams, was born March 9, 1923 in Egypt, Arkansas. She departed this life March 4, 2014 in Batesville, Arkansas at the age of 90 years, 11 months and 23 days. She was united in marriage to William Wright November 18, 1963 in Sherville (sic), Indiana. She spent her life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. Before moving to Arkansas, she was employed by Queen Anne Candy Company in Indiana. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by one daughter: Brenda Hayslip of Melbourne; two stepchildren: J. L. Wright of Illinois and Nina June Wright of Indiana; one brother: Arlin Williams of Egypt, Arkansas; two sisters: Elsie Clark of Black Rock, Arkansas and Hazel Brannon of Georgia; two grandchildren: Mark Duncan and Michelle Bruce; four great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two brothers: Earl Williams and Robert Williams and one grandson: Tim Duncan.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Belview Baptist Church with Jess Sumrall officiating. Burial will be at Violet Hill Cemetery under the direction of Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Melbourne. Visitation will be Friday, March 7 beginning at 1:00 p.m at Belview Baptist Church.
Pallbearers: Michael Myers, Mark Duncan, Marcus McLain, Josh Lobdell, Ron Bruce, Jerry Williams.
