Catherine Higgins, 87, of Vilonia died Friday (July 9, 1999).
Born Oct. 14, 1911, in Arnold, Neb., a daughter of George and Elizabeth Hoffman, she was the widow of Otis Higgins and a member of the Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
Survivors are three sons, Harold Higgins of Springdale, Jimmie Higgins of Hot Springs and Gordon Higgins of Vilonia; a daughter, Edna Clark of Vilonia; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Victor Higgins.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, with David Baker, Howard Smith and Hugh Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Valley Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Otis Wilson, Bill Mitchell, John Arnold, Clarence Stocks and Jerry Bevins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Cypress Valley Cemetery Fund, c/o C. O. Stocks, Highway 319, Vilonia, AR, 72173.
