TROTTER, Geo. - Geo. Trotter, postmaster at Key, six miles east of Rogers near White River, died Sunday night at his home at that place. He had been sick for some years with stomach trouble and other complications and his death was not a surprise to the friends and family. Funeral services were held Monday. Mr. Trotter was about forty-five years old and had lived in Benton county all his life, having formerly lived in Rogers. He leaves a wife and four children. Mrs. Trotter is a sister of J.C. Key, who lives south of town. Mr. Trotter was a popular member of the community and his death is a matter of much regret.
