GARFIELD - Dennis Joe Trotter, 44, of Garfield died Nov. 24, 1997, at his home. He was born April 16, 1953, in Rogers to L.D. and Loretta Phillips Trotter. He was owner and operator of Trotters Tree Service in Rogers and had been a specialized tree technician for 25 years. He was a graduate of LDT University of tree surgeons. He attended the Pea Ridge Assembly of God and was an avid hunter and fisherman and chain saw artist.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Marie Cooper Trotter of the home, to whom he was married 25 years; one daughter, Carrie Lynn Trotter of the home; his mother and stepfather: Loretta Edwards and Gene of Pea Ridge; maternal grandmother, Mary Irene Feast of Rogers; three brothers, Jerry Trotter of Avoca, Terry (Harret) Trotter of Jacket, Mo., and Tommy Trotter of Rogers; two sisters, Carol (Tony) Henry and Connie Cypert, both of Garfield.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pea Ridge Assembly of God with the Rev. Darrell Rogers and the Rev. Robert Fairchild officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery in Garfield under the direction of Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
