Lt. Col. Kenneth E. Wilson, (USAF, Ret.) age 76, of Cabot, died September 15, 2010. He was born September 9, 1934, to the late Jesse C. and Jane C. Wilson. He was preceded in death by his wife Earlene, a brother, Jesse C. Wilson, Jr. and a sister, Carolyn W. Nobles.
He is survived by one son, Jeffery A. Wilson of Cabot, two stepsons, Cory D. Cameron(Theresa) of Bella Vista, Arkansas and H. Keith Morrison(Lynn) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, two stepdaughters Terry L. Paul of North Little Rock and Dana K. Morgan(Joe) of Melbourne, Florida, five grandson, Brad and Blake Wilson of Cabot, Jacob Cameron of Bella Vista, Benjamin and Samuel Morrison of Fayetteville, five granddaughters, Katelynn Cameron of Bella Vista, Sarah, Margaret and Valeria Morrison of Fayetteville and Terrina Walker of Fayetteville, one sister, Morene W. Scherz of North Little Rock, three nephews, Marvin Scherz of Rogers, Arkansas, Harold Scherz of North Little Rock and Scott Scherz of Little Rock and one niece Shann Nobels of Cabot.
Lt. Col. Wilson was a member of Cabot United Methodist Church where he served on several boards and committees, a Perpetual Member of Cabot Masonic Lodge #319 where he served as Master and Secretary, a 32 degree Mason, a Lifetime Member of the National Guard Association of the United States and a Lifetime Member of the National Guard Association of Arkansas. He served his country as a member of the Air National Guard for more than 37 years.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Cabot United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Friday, September 17, 2010 at Cabot United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Sixteenth Section Cemetery in North Lonoke County. In lieu of flowers it is requested that memorials be made to Cabot United Methodist Church, 2003 South Pine, Cabot, Arkansas 72023.
