PRAIRIE GROVE — Jack Howe, 67, of Prairie Grove died May 31, 2006, at his home. He was born June 5, 1938, in Valentine, Neb., to John F. and Evangeline Carson Howe. He was a member of Prairie Oaks Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. He was a Navy veteran and a life member of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge and the Hunting Club.
Survivors include his wife, Lavelle Dobbs Howe of the home; one son, Ricky Howe of Siloam Springs; three daughters, Deborah Jetmore of Joiner, Saundra Shinkle of Fall River, Kan., and Sheila Oliver of Prairie Grove; one sister, Agnes Howe Ballow of Omaha, Neb.; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Prairie Oaks Baptist Church with John Hooser, Ivan Faulkner and Larry Larvon officiating.
Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery near Evansville.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, online at www.luginbuel.com.
Pallbearers will be Cliff Howe, Jon Dobbs, Marvin Latta, Jimmy Crooks, Kenneth Latta and Brian Hendrik.
Honorary pallbearers will be Clint Dobbs, Johnny Dobbs, Omer Dobbs, David Dobbs, Wayne Winstead and Ray Mulvaney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may he made to Washington Regional Medical Center Hospice, 34 W. Colt Square Drive, Fayetteville, 72703.

PRAIRIE GROVE — Oletta Lavelle Howe, 79, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away May 1, 2012, in Fort Scott, Kan. She was born April 26, 1933, in Odell, Ark., the daughter of John H. "Perno" and Jewell Agnus Rose Dobbs.
She was a member of the Prairie Oaks Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Howe.
Survivors include one son, Rocky Howe of Siloam Springs, Ark.; three daughters, Deborah Jetmore of Deerfield, Mo., Saundra Shinkle of Fall River, Kan., and Sheila Oliver of Grain Valley, Mo.; two sons-in-law, Tim Jetmore and Randy Shinkle; one daughter-in-law, Valarie Howe; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; five siblings; two sisters and three brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Friday, May 4, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Prairie Oaks Baptist Church, Prairie Grove, Ark. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery near Evansville.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Tad Jatmore, Zac Shinkle, Kevin Oliver, Jake Howe, Casey Liddle and Brian Hendrick.
Honorary pallbearers: John David Horn and Colton Howe.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fort Scott Manor, 736 Heylman, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
