Springdale - Fleming Jackson (Jay) Alverson, 64, of Madesto, Calif., died March 10 in an automobile accident near Springsville, Ariz. Born June 8, 1912 at Fort Gibson, Okla., the son of Charles and Lucy Medlin Alverson, he was a farmer and a Baptist.
Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Frances Kelly, Mrs. Lucy Longwith, Mrs. Sue Bradshaw, Mrs. Dolly Phillips and Miss. Mary Alverson, all of Prairie
Grove; four brothers, Robert and T. H. of Lowell, Lloyd of Van Buren and Floyd of Sapulpa, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Bailly of Early Mart, Calif. and Mrs. Ann West of Lowell and eight grandchildren.
Arrangements will be announced by Sisco Funeral
Chapel.

F.J. (Jay) Alverson, 64, 2039 Frazier, Modesto, Calif., former resident of Lowell, died March 10 near Springerville, Ariz., following a traffic accident. Born June 8, 1912, at Ft. Gibson, Okla., he was the son of Charles and Lucy Medlin Alverson, a member of the Free Will Baptist Church and a retired farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Alverson, Prairie Grove; five daughters, Mrs. Frances Kelly, Mrs. Lucy Longwith, Mrs. Sue Bradshaw. Mrs. Dolly Phillips and Mary Alverson all of Prairie Grove; four brothers, Robert Alverson and T.H. Alverson, Lowell, Lloyd Alverson, Van Buren, and Floyd Alverson, Sapulpa, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Bailey, Earlimart, Calif., and Mrs. Ann West, Lowell; and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. in Sisco Chapel. Burial will be in Frisco Springs Cemetery under the direction of Sisco.
