Wife of Wilburn Isaac Plymale
Daughter of William and Sarah Osborne Tackett
In 1883, Wilburn Isaac Plymale, wife Elizabeth Tackett Plymale and his brother Hughy decided to relocate to Franklin County, Arkansas, where Hughy's oldest daughter had moved two years earlier. Hughy and his family, Wilburn and family, and their sister Evaline Childers and her family, all moved west together. They traveled by water, down the Ohio River, then down the Mississippi River, and finally up the Arkansas River. They arrived at their destination in Franklin County, Arkansas, where the Rowes had earlier moved and taken up residence near Barnes. It was a journey of approximately 850 miles. The three families would have comprised a fairly large group, with all of their children, and whatever property they were able to take with them.
Father: William Tackett b: 1824 in Pike County, Kentucky:
Mother: Sarah Osborne b: 1830 in Pike County, Kentucky.
