E.M. (Ace) Garrett, 63, 2805 McRay, Springdale, died Feb. 3 in Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born Sept. 27, 1913, at Vilonia, be was the son of Ben and Hannah Garrett, a member of the Baptist Church and a retired truck driver. He moved to Springdale from Kansas City, Mo., in 1937.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Jeffers Garrett of the home; one son, Everett M. Garrett Jr., Fayetteville; two daughters, Mrs. Jimmy (Lorene) Kearns, Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. John B. (Mary Louise) Myers, Reading, Pa.; four brothers, Wade Garrett, Bellingham, Wash., Homer Garrett, Raytown, Mo., Roy Garrett and Carl Garrett, Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Combest, La Verne, Calif., and Mrs. Maggie Hardin, Walla Walla, Wash.; and 13 grandchildren.
Arrangments are incomplete and will be announced by Sisco Chapel.
