Mrs. Dona Mae Agee, 97, of Mayflower, AR departed this life Thursday, September 26, 2013. She was born to the late James A. Green and Genie Bell (Strickland) Greene on September 2, 1916 in Formosa, AR. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Allen Greene, Claude Greene, and William Greene; sisters Anna, Bertha, Rosie and Katie.
She confessed her hope and faith in Jesus Christ at an early age at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
She united in matrimony to Mr. Lemuel B. Agee on May 15, 1932 until his death in 1995.
She is survived by her loving sister, Mrs. Willie Mae Cook of Mayflower, AR and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Palarm Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 795 Hwy 365 South, Mayflower, AR. The body will lie in state 3-6 pm on Friday, October 4, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment Palarm Cemetery in Mayflower, AR
