Shirley Ann Parker Lundy, age 77, of Waskom, TX, passed away on October 4, 2011 in the company of her husband of 58 years and her children. Shirley was born on September, 15, 1934 in Smackover, Arkansas to Floyd C. and Versa P. Parker. Shirley and her family moved to Rodessa, Louisiana at a very early age.
She is survived by her husband, J. Eugene "Gene" Lundy; children, Michael Lundy of Katy, TX, Stephen Lundy and wife, Brenda of Round Rock, TX, and Lisa Barzilla and husband, Chuck of Katy, TX; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Mark D. Lundy; and sister, Pauline Smith. She will live on in the hearts of many forever. Interment will be at Macedonia Cemetery, Miller County, Arkansas on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 10:00am.
