Susan P. Sappington, 63, of Vilonia, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.

Susan was a dedicated letter carrier in Conway for 25 years.

Susan was a very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reeder A. Pairish and Edith W. Pairish; and one son, Edward Kenneth Sappington.

Susan is survived by her husband, Kenneth Sappington of Vilonia; one son, Philip (Cheri) Sappington of St. Louis; three daughters, Mary Beck of Vilonia, Samantha (Jimmy) Langley of Conway and Margaret (Karl) Huff of Vilonia; two sisters-in-law, Mary Joan Hamel of Iowa and Victoria Hale of Tennessee; two brothers-in-law, Donald Sappington and Thomas Sappington, both of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren, John, Melissa, Katherine and Ashlyn Sappington, Amanda and Nicole Beck, Shannon Trickey, Brian Langley, Kent King, Katie Tew and Sydney Huff; and special friends, the Rev. John and Susan Hammons.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Wilder, Dr. Ross, Dr. Abraham and Dr. Greenway and their staff for the excellent care they gave Susan.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. tonight at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.

Funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Oliver Cemetery Chapel, with burial in Oliver Cemetery.
