HUNTSVILLE — Guy C. McCoy, 89, of Huntsville died Oct. 22, 1999, at his home. He was born Oct. 20, 1910, in Huntsville to John Greene and Alice Mays McCoy. He attended the Hilltop Church and had worked in production for Tyson Foods Inc. for 11 years.

Survivors include his wife, Edith I. Watson McCoy of the home, to whom he was married Aug. 8, 1936; one daughter and son-in-law, Joetta Smith and Lonnie of Huntsville; one granddaughter, Loretta Willis of Glendale, Ariz.; three great-grandsons.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brashear Funeral Home of Huntsville with the Rev. John Martin, the Rev. Darrell Foulk and the Rev. Johnny Case officiating.

Burial will be in Bohannon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Joe McCoy, Duane McCoy, Robert Pettz, Norman Eoff, Mike Haney and Larry Hill.

Honorary pallbearers will be Vernal Whittmore, Jesse H. McCoy, James L. Sloan, Dalton McCoy and Bill Willis.

HUNTSVILLE — Edith I. McCoy, 90, of Huntsville died April 24, 2008, at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville. She was born April 15, 1918, in Cobb Creek to Garland VanBuren and Lida Jane Phillips Watson.

She was a "Rosie the Riveter" at Boeing Aircraft in Wichita, Kan., during World War II. She retired from Campbell Soup Co. after 29 years. She was Pentecostal.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy C. McCoy, on Oct. 22, 1999.

Survivors include a daughter, Joetta Smith and husband Lonnie of Huntsville; a granddaughter, Lonetta Willis and husband, Brad, of Glendale, Ariz.; three great-grandsons, Brad Willis Jr., Derrick Willis and Zachary Willis, all of Glendale.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville, www.brashearsfuneralhome.net.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Johnny Case, John Martin and Darrell Foulk will officiate.

Burial will be in Bohannan Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Eugene Watson, Jim Watson, Mike Calico, Loy Watson, Art Callico and Van Bennett.

Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Thomas, Tommie Thomas, Vernon Whittmore, Kenny Parker, Larry Branstetter, Jason Yates and Brad Willis.
