Erma F. Arnold, 88, of Romance, passed away on Monday, July 28, at Searcy. She was born on February 23, 1920, on the family farm near Romance. She was the widow of Jesse Arnold who died in 2001. Mrs. Arnold was a member of the Smyrna Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Carrie Nolen of Romance; four brothers, C. L. Nolen of Mt. Vernon, Boothe Nolen of Mt. Vernon, Doyle Nolen of Searcy, and Monroe Nolen of Atwater, California; and four sisters, Bernell Gaylor of Conway, Nora Mae Nolen of Romance, and Opal Ethridge and Berthel Breeding of California.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirrell Noggle and husband Kellar Noggle of Romance; two grandsons, Randy Kel Noggle of Romance and Richard Kerry Noggle of Lawrence, Kansas; one great-grandson, Casey Kellar Noggle of Beebe; one great-great-grandson, Kellar Blayne Noggle of Beebe; three sisters, Bessie Ward of Searcy, Jean Price of Beebe, and Dean Cranford of Searcy; and one brother, Elvin Nolen of Modesto, California.
Funeral services will be Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home with interment following at Oliver Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
