Bernell Loy Gaylor, 91 of Conway passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Born in Mt. Vernon, AR on March 19, 1917, she was a daughter to the late Monroe Leonard and Carrie Elizabeth (Adkisson) Nolan and the widow of Arvil Benjamin Gaylor. Bernell was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who helped her husband on the farm. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Conway and loved to garden. One of her greatest joys was being a volunteer for the Faulkner County Day School for over 25 years. She was also preceded in death by three brothers: C.L. Nolen, Monroe Nolen and Boothe Nolen; three sisters: Berthel Breeding, Nora Mae Nolen and Opal Ethridge; a stepson Verlon (Josh) Gaylor.
Survivors include her daughter Linda Breeding of Conway, AR; a grandson Brent Breeding and wife Teri of Conway; a granddaughter Tanya Breeding Hardenbrook and husband Chris of Chicago, IL; three great grandchildren, four step grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren; two brothers: Elvin Nolen of Medesto, CA and Doyle Nolen of Searcy, AR; four sisters: Erma Arnold of Beebe, AR, Bessie Ward of Searcy, AR, Jean Price of Beebe, AR and Dean Cranford of Searcy, AR; numerous nieces and nephews and her long term caregiver Harold Wilson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Friday, April 25, 2008 at Roller McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Interment will follow at Oliver Cemetery in Mt. Vernon, AR. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 on Thursday, April 24, at the funeral home.
