Audra (Brown) Woolf, of Houston, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at age 93. She was born December 13, 1917 in Bee Branch, Arkansas to the late Jim and Princie Brown. She married Billie Burk Woolf September 27, 1941, her husband of 53 years. She was preceded in death by grandsons Michael Woolf and David McGee, one brother and three sisters. She is survived by her children Burk and Betty Woolf of Little Rock, Warren and Rita Woolf of Russellville, and Steve and Freeda Phifer of Bartow, Florida; grandchildren Edwin and Sharon Woolf, Greg and Kelly Woolf, Matt and Nicole Huett, Greta Woolf McGee, Manny and Jennifer Foret; and five great-grandchildren Mallory and Taylor Woolf, Mailey and Brenley Woolf, and Michael McGee.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Burk and Betty Woolf, her primary caregivers for the last six years and to the staff of Baptist Health Hospice for their care and kindness, especially Evelyn Vance and Gena Shearer.
A celebration of Mrs. Woolf’s life will be held Saturday, August 20, at 10:00 a.m. at Houston Assembly of God where she was a member for over seventy years, with Bro. John Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at May Cemetery near Houston by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 19, at Funeral Home in Morrilton.
