Edith (Ann) Dillingham Powell, 71, of Conway, AR (Faulkner County) died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Little Rock. Born June 7, 1939 in Humphrey, AR, daughter of Lymon Joshua Dillingham and Nora Barnes Dillingham. Ann is preceded in death by her husband, John Powell and one son, Ronald Wayne Powell. Three siblings, two brothers, LJ Dillingham and Charles Dillingham; one sister, Flora Miller.
Survivors include five children: John Powell Jr (Debbie), Jacksonville, AR, Theresa Simpkins, Conway, AR, Mark Powell (Mary), Crestview, FL, Tawana Kaye Cullum, Conway, AR and Gary Powell (Karen) also of Conway. Survivors also included nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 2 at Roller-McNutt Chapel, Clinton, AR. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 1 at 6:00 – 8:00, Roller-McNutt, Clinton, AR. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Burial will follow in the Bradford Cemetery, at Shirley, Arkansas.
